Acron Aviation’s groundbreaking SRVIVR25 line of cockpit voice recorders provide low cost of ownership and the longest duration of voice and flight data ever available for analysis. Offering a minimum of 25 hours of voice recording over four audio channels, as well as a minimum of 140 hours of flight data recording, this line of recorders meets the 2021 European Aviation Safety Agency’s (EASA) mandate following the International Civil Aviation Organization’s (ICAO) published safety standards to extend the voice recording duration. It is a direct replacement solution for Acron Aviation’s FA2100, as well as other ARINC 747 and 757 recorders, offering airlines more flexibility for both new and existing aircraft.

Acron Aviation’s FA2100 family of cockpit and flight data recorders offers proven reliability and performance for fixed-and rotary-wing aircraft operating in virtually all civil and military environments. The FA2100 CVR is one of the industry’s best solid-state cockpit voice recorders and has a reputation of being a solid, high-performing system worldwide. The FA2100 CVR offers up to two hours of high-quality recording on all four channels and is designed for both civil and military aircraft. It requires very low power –only 12 watts (max AC) and 10.5 watts (max DC).

Acron Aviation's FA2100 Cockpit Voice and Data Recorder (CVDR) delivers exceptional performance and reliability with up to two hours of recording capabilities on all four channels. Its small size and lightweight engineering make it the ideal CVDR solution for an array of civil, commercial and military aircraft and helicopters. The ruggedized Crash-Survivable Memory Unit (CSMU) is made of stainless steel, but is optionally available in lightweight titanium. The FA2100 can also be installed as a stand-alone Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) or Flight Data Recorder (FDR). 

The unit is ARINC 573.717/747 (data) 557-and 757-compliant. While the standard FA2100 weighs only 10 pounds, it has demonstrated incredible crash worthiness. In installations where even greater weight savings are required, the FA2100’s standard stainless steel Crash Survivable Memory Unit (CSMU) can be manufactured using lightweight titanium.

The SRVIVR family of Cockpit Voice and Flight Data Recorders (CVFDR) combines Acron Aviation' world-class technology with one of the smallest and lightest, fully EUROCAE ED-112 compliant recorder. Weighing as little as 6 pounds, SRVIVR is available as a Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR), Flight Data Recorder (FDR) or combination unit and provides up to four channels of audio recording for up to 2 hours. It also records 25 hours of flight data and two hours of CNS/ATM datalink and includes a rotor-speed interface.

All members of the SRVIVR family can be configured for specific aircraft requirements where there are a combination of digital and analog/discrete inputs as well as audio recording and rotor speed.

The FA5000 CVDR is one of the industry’s best solid-state cockpit voice recorders holding a reputation as a high-performing system providing a high recording capacity at the highest quality. The cockpit voice recorder offers up to 2 hours of high-quality recording on all four channels and is designed for both civil and military aircraft. 

The FA5000 CVDR has proven to be an exceptionally reliable unit in the commercial airline field, logging more than 50,000 hours of successful operation. Options include ATC datalink messaging and Onboard Maintenance System (OMS) reporting. Its high reliability in the field contributes to a low cost of ownership over the life of the system.

The FA5000 Flight Data Recorder (FDR) is a high-performance solution recording a minimum of 25 hours of flight data at 64/128/256/512 or 1024 words-per-second (wps). Optional capabilities expand that capability up to 2048 wps. It is available in . ATR short-or long-box configurations, weighs less than 11 lb. (5 kg), consumes low power and uses common ground support equipment offering operators low cost of ownership. 

The FA5000 FDR has proven itself in the Commercial Airline industry, demonstrating a mean time between failure (MTBF) of 50,000 hours. The unit is also approved for military operations under MIL-STD-1553. Accelerometers and installation accessories are available.

The Acron Aviation Lightweight Data Recorders (LDR) are a small, lightweight package providing crash-protected recording of audio, image and flight data on General Aviation (GA) fixed-wing aircraft and rotary aircraft.

The new Extra Light Data Recorder (xLDR) is designed especially for eVTOL, light aircraft and unmanned systems. The ED-155 certified recorder exceeds mandates and global recommendations for crash-protected flight recorders on smaller aircraft. It weighs only 2.43 lbs with enhanced features including increased data rate collection, auto-recording and pilot-control capabilities.

Any subset of the total LDR capability can be utilized for any particular installation not intended for regulatory-mandated applications. While some installations may make use of only the audio and image recording capability, others may want to exploit the full audio, image, data (ARINC 717 or ARINC 429) and GPS recording.

A built-in web server makes it easy for data retrieval and configuration with just a laptop and web-browser. No expensive software or complicated cabling is required for on-aircraft downloads.

The Acron Aviation S058is an ED-112-compliant integrated CAM suitable for installation in a wide variety of aircraft. Key features include improved immunity to airframe and helicopter vibration, as well as cell phone and GSM signals and RF interferences. This solution provides surface or panel mount options and easy installation. The TSO approval simplifies certification for aircraft manufacturers, installers and end users.

The Acron Aviation DM58 is a preamplified digital microphone that provides an ED-112A-compliant integrated Cockpit Area Microphone (CAM) and preamplifier functionality for commercial and military aircraft. The inclusion of an ED-112A compliant preamplifier benefits customers by reducing system part count, size and weight.

This solution provides a more capable, certified underwater locating beacon for all Acron Aviation Cockpit Voice and Flight Data Recorders. The 90-Day Beacon is a long-life battery-operated underwater acoustic pulse generator (beacon/pinger) that is activated when the water switch is immersed in either fresh or salt water. The standard for beacons, as defined in TSO-C121B, calls for beacons to operate for a minimum of 90 days, upgraded from 30-days. Factory-approved Acron Aviation 90-Day Beacon retrofit kits help improve the traceability and performance of your Acron Aviation recorders.

Secure, easy-to-use touch-screen tablet enabling operators to quickly retrieve cockpit voice, datalink, flight data, and fault logs without removing the recorder from the aircraft. The intuitive user interface and easy workflow menus do not require special training to perform key tasks. In addition, there are live monitoring features that can be used to quickly validate the audio channels/microphones and the FDR data parameters for real-time troubleshooting on the aircraft.
