ACAS X
Cutting-edge Airborne Collision Avoidance Systems (ACAS X)
Acron Aviation is leveraging our proven and widely adopted TCAS, ADS-B, transponder and terrain awareness expertise with additional capabilities like distance measuring equipment, radar and sensor integration, to create a simple, lightweight OEM unit capable of hosting all variants of ACAS X.
ACAS Xu
For UAS, ACAS Xu capabilities are supported on the ACSS T3CAS® integrated surveillance system,which includes the ACAS Xu, Mode S Transponders, and ADS-B In/Out applications. An optional Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) capability is offered for military missions. This solution meets the requirements of DO-386, applicable to military and civil unmanned Group 3, 4 and 5 platforms.
ACAS Xr
For UAM, ACAS Xr capabilities are being developed for the Lynx® NGT-9000, a proven solution fielded in numerous general aviation and light to medium helicopter platforms. Both the ACAS Xu and ACAS Xr systems integrate with either a commercial off-the-shelf or Acron aviation supplied airworthy non-cooperative sensors (EO/IR, Radar, LIDAR). These next generation systems will be evolve to lower SWAP (Size, Weight and Power), to meet the maturing needs of our customers
Current DAA Programs
Current detect and avoid systems incorporating FAA’s ACAS Xu algorithm have been flight-tested on Predator, Triton and other unmanned platforms. Additional programs focused on safety and autonomy for the commercial market are in development for simplified vehicle operations, remote piloting and full autonomy.

The Acron aviation AHA solution provides unprecedented detection and visualization to pilots. It provides enhanced landing and take-off awareness in a 360⁰ scalable view and a 180M detection of wires and other obstacles. AHA provides leading-edge 40M hazard assessments, ideal for drone detection. The sensor-agnostic interface utilizes radar, EO/IO and LIDAR for enhanced pilot situational awareness during all phases of flight.
